In the past people didn't have technology, like we do these days. This way it seemed like there was way more time in a day, and people were not rushing everywhere, like most of us do now. Many families also didn't have enough food for their entire family, so they were forced to starve themselves. In conclusion life was much harder back then, so we should be thankful for what we have today.
