In Science fiction things are kinda scary to happen in real life. As an example, I would say the aliens, or some other creatures from Space. But fantasy is beautiful and magic, so you want it to happen, but it's impossible because in real life we don't have, for example, super powers. These are, in my opinion, the most important differences between them.
