Have you heard of Gheorghe Hagi?
Gheorghe Hagi was a former football player, one of the best Romanian players of all time and one of the best midfielders in Europe in the 80's and 90's. Gheorghe hagi, Petrescu and Dumitrescu led Romania to the 1994 world championship in the quarterfinals, being defeated by Sweden on penalties. He played for Barcelona, Real Madrid and Galatasaray. He was included in the "All-star team" and was ranked 4th at the 1994 Golden Ball, being overtaken by Maldini, Baggio and Stoichkov.
