adjectivele sunt de doua feluri: scurte(1-2silabe) si lungi(2+ silabe)

gradul pozitiv-> exciting, beautiful, fast etc.

gradul comparativ->
la adj scurte: adj la pozitiv+ sufixul "-er"
ex: fast-> faster
la adk lungi: more+adj la pozitiv
ex: beautiful-> more beautiful

gradul superlativ->
la adj scurte: the+ adj la pozitiv+ sufixul "-est"
ex: fast-> faster-> the fastest
la adj lungi: the+ most+ adj la pozitiv
ex: beautiful-> more beautiful-> the most beautiful

exista insa si exceptii, precum:
•good(comparativ: better; superlativ: the best)
•bad(comparativ: worse; superlativ: the worst)
etc etc
