While living underground might seem very strange, a lot of people nowadays are taking it into consideration. Though, many still aren't comfortable with the idea of living underground, still living like that has its advantages, as well as disadvantages.
There are a number of advantages when it comes to this topic. Firstly, living underground might be less expensive, as the cost of house maitanance and constructions is significantly lower. Also, it is healthier for the environment as it saves up a lot of natural landscape subsequently supporting our environment. Finally, fire can no longer be a worry as fire starting in the underground house is impossible.
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. First of all, it would be hard for the house to have natural light and so everything would be very dimly lit. Secondly, during floods the house would risk being drowned and it would be extremely dangerous for people to escape safely. Finally, there is a high chance that the house might collapse and many people would get injured.
In conclusion, while living underground can be a very innovative idea to some, it comes with a lot of risks as well.
