The main difference is that if you have a big family you will have have some company when is a rain outside or something that will keep you inside your house, but if you have a small family it's going to be boring. I would prefer to have a big family than a small one because it's more funny and I'm not going to get bored if my siblings or my parents are going to annoy me.
