RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
There are very few women who have succeeded

Although Helene had always been keen

Desi Helene a fost mereu pasionata de bucatarie, ea nu a decis sa devina bucatar decat la varsta de 20 de ani. A absolvit in studii de afaceri/studii comerciale si apoi s-a decis sa petreaca un an lucrand in bucataria unui restaurant. Un bucatar celebru a luat-o pe Helene ca ucenica si a fost pusa la conducerea celorlalti membri ai personalului. Ea a ajutat si la la alegerea meniurilor care erau gatite in fiecare zi. Multumita acestui antrenament de prima clasa, Helene Darroze a decis sa devina bucatar. A lucrat la hotelul si restaurantul familiei sale detinut in sud-vestul Frantei cativa ani si apoi si-a infiintat propriul restaurant la Paris. A fost un succes, iar dupa doar patru luni, restaurantul ei a castigat prima sa stea Michelin - un semn al unei mari realizari. In 2003, restaurantul ei a castigat o alta stea, care a facut-o pe Helene sa devina prima femeie dintre mii de bucatari barbati care a câștigat doua stele.
