from my point of view, books and films both have their benefits.
first of all, books let you imagine what the characters look like, where the actions take part, and so many more. films are great to watch too! you see how the characters are portrayed and they also don’t take that much time to see, unlike a book.
even though they both have their advantages, i love to read a book first and then see the movie just because when you read a book you almost leave this world for some time and enter another, a much different one. when you read a book, you also could learn new words if you read it in another language.
in conclusion, i think books and films are both great, but for me, books are much more fascinating and interesting.
