I have a dream. But it is not a big one. I don’t want that, a big dream that could mean too much responsibility. I just want to to get an average job, maybe one in a small company. Not a lawyer, not a doctor, not some time-consuming office job I don’t want. Maybe a 9–5 job, or maybe even a stay-at-home job.
At about six or seven, I’d get home. I want to live alone, in a small but fancy apartment. I’d put on some music, switch to pajamas. I want to live in a big city, though, a place with civilized inhabitants. After work, I would eat a simple and cheap unnutritional dinner and watch a TV show. Maybe hang out or get a simple dinner with some friends.
Electronics? All I need is a laptop and a decent phone that works well. I wouldn’t invest in any household furniture. There’s no point. The things I’d spend money on? I want a pet bird. A parrot, specifically. Their care is kind of expensive, but it’s honestly not that bad. Maybe one or two would be enough, and with the job hours I want, I’d be fine with taking care of them properly.
Point is, I don’t have a “big dream”. I don’t need fancy things. I need friends and happiness.
That’s all I want. And I have literally no idea whether the job I’m describing would be enough to support the lifestyle I’m looking at, and I don’t know whether this is realistic at all.
