In the ninth picture, Jack hurries to his mother to tell her that a giant was climbing down the beanstalk to catch him and that she must cut that beanstalk. His mother takes an axe and rushes to the stalk.
In the tenth and final picture, the beanstalk fell to the ground and the giant dies when it reaches the ground. (Ever since then, Jack and his mother lived happily ever after because of thr hen that made golden eggs and the magical harp. The end.)
