After practicing english and getting in touch with many stereotypes of people - such as republicans or immigrants, teenagers or adults - I can't make up my mind on wether or not there exists a 'pure' American/English speaker. After watching numerous movies about the States, I think of an English speaker like I would either think about the nationalist, with multiple flags hanged around the house, perfect English paired well with a specific superior accent or about the posh neighbour, that owns a house as impressive as a mannor, never skips the 5 p.m. tea and is often invited to Queen's Elizabeth dinner. In my beautiful journey of discovery, I came along teenagers with strong opinions, pastel or bright dyed hair, elders that were laid-back or middle aged women or men always ready to engage in a verbal combat.

In my opinion, you don't need to be a US citizen or the daughter of Prince Charles to speak English. It has become an international language and so forth, we cannot find the perfect stereotype, as we've seen and encountered various people with equally ambigous opinions and mindsets.
