I was alone in the house, reading a scary book story as snow was falling silently outside. The only sound was the ticking of a very old clock. I was absorbed by the story when suddenly I began to feel that someone was watching me.
I tried to ignore it, thinking that is was only my imagination. But I couldn’t even concentrate on the story, so I put the bookmark in the book and went closer to the large window that was opposite my couch. There was nobody, even though I could feel that there was someone. Then, the window became a little steamy, as if someone blew in the window. Three letters, written the other way around appeared, like someone wrote them. I tried my best to understand what was written before it disappeared and I’m pretty sure that it said ‘run’ . I was creeped out. I turned around slowly and saw a shadow coming from the kitchen. I wend slowly to see what was it. Then I heard a noise. Something felt. I turned my head and saw the book that was now on the floor. I turned to the kitchen again and froze. A girl with black hair was staring at me. I ran quickly upstairs, feeling that she was right behind me, but she was gone.
I’d rather believe that it was a dream, or it was only in my mind, but it seemed too real.
